Goals & Principles |
Mr. Grayson served as the President of a telecommunications business in 1990 and 1991. That business is a publicly-traded Fortune 500 international telecommunications corporation. It has assets of over $1 billion. Both before 1990 and since 1991, Mr. Grayson worked as an attorney on matters relating to telecommunications. This gives the Firm an excellent understanding of the business aspects of telecom legal issues.
The Firm's very active telecom practice today includes being lead counsel or co-counsel in: · a $500 million securities fraud case between two telecom companies; · litigation between a telecom company and an equipment supplier involving $50 million in claims, and hundreds of millions of dollars in counterclaims; · a $300 million claim by a telecom company to enforce a settlement agreement; · a claim by a telecom company against an investment bank for tens of millions of dollars; · defense of patent infringement claims against a telecom company; and · defending a $20 million claim brought by a former company executive. The Firm recently recovered $21 million for a telecom client in an international arbitration award, following a 34-day hearing.
