ALAN M. GRAYSON, ESQ.


Mr. Grayson has been a principal at GRAYSON & KUBLI, P.C. since he founded the firm in 1991. In the area of government contracts law, the firm represents clients in claims, bid protests, false claims actions, audits and debarment. Before he started the firm, Mr. Grayson was a founder and President of IDT Corporation, today a publicly traded, $1 billion telecommunications company. Alan also worked for five years at Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson, a large Washington DC law firm. While at Fried, Frank, Mr. Grayson concentrated in government contracts law. He was a Court Law Clerk for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit from 1984 to 1985, as well as a law clerk at the Colorado Supreme Court from 1983 to 1984.

Mr. Grayson received his Juris Doctorate from Harvard Law School (cum laude) in 1983. He also received an M.A. from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard that same year. Alan attended Harvard for his undergraduate work and was awarded a B.A. in 1978.

His bar admissions include the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Virginia and the State of Colorado. Mr. Grayson’s court admissions include U.S. District Courts for the District of Columbia, Eastern District of Virginia, U.S. Court of Federal Claims and U.S. Courts of Appeals for the D.C., 4th and Federal Circuits.

In addition to his private practice Mr. Grayson is a frequent speaker about government contracts law. He was also a lecturer at the George Washington University Government Contracts Program. In 2006, Mr. Grayson was a finalist for Trial Lawyer of the Year, Trial Lawyers for Public Justice; and 2006 Trial Lawyer of the Year, Taxpayers Against Fraud.
